Understand your complete quote

Compare the exact service and total cost, not only a GPU headline rate.

Configuration and price unit

Confirm PCIe/SXM, VM/bare metal, GPUs per instance, number of instances, VRAM, CPU, RAM and disk. Ask whether the price is per GPU, per instance or per cluster. A different hardware variant can have a different price even when the GPU family name is the same.

AUD and itemised charges

Review compute, storage, network/IP and service fees separately, and whether GST applies and is included. Public reference rates converted from another currency are budget estimates. The approved quote states the customer currency, total and any applicable exchange-rate terms.

Worked example — arithmetic only

If a quote specifies A$4 per GPU-hour, two GPUs for 10 billable hours cost A$80 for compute alone (4 × 2 × 10). If A$4 is instead the complete instance-hour rate, the same 10 hours cost A$40. These are illustrative numbers, not Arvica offers; add the actual storage, network, service and tax lines.

Before accepting

Confirm quote expiry, delivery date, minimum term, deposit, PO/reference and payment schedule. Ask when billing starts and ends, what remains chargeable while stopped, and cancellation or refund terms. Spot requests also need interruption, notice and data-recovery terms. Never infer a fixed total from a public GPU-only price.
